Goolsbee and Tyson are front-runners to replace Romer

Obama economic adviser Austan Goolsbee and Clinton economic adviser Laura Tyson appear to be the favorites to replace Christina Romer as chair of the President's Council of Economic Advisers, according to The Christian Science Monitor. But whoever takes the post will face the daunting challenge of trying to heat up the economy while keeping an eye on the deficit and exports.
