Nevada airport receives $3.5M grant for runway improvements

The U.S. Department of Transportation awarded $3.5 million to Reno-Stead Airport in Nevada. More than 200 aircraft are based at the general aviation airport located north of Reno. The grant will fund improvements to two runways and will create 30 construction jobs, according to Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev.
