Study finds no link between oral bisphosphonates and cancer risk

An analysis of medical data from more than 80,000 U.K. patients found that using bisphosphonates, a class of osteoporosis drugs, doesn't increase the risk of esophageal or gastric cancer. Researchers found no difference in combined incidence of the cancers between bisphosphonate users and nonusers.
