Mark Hurd's sudden exit from Hewlett-Packard won't crimp the former CEO's career too badly: He's already being linked to possible leadership roles at Oracle, General Motors and even Dell. The bigger question, writes Jena McGregor, is how HP will bounce back: The size of Hurd's golden parachute will damage employee morale. "If HP's board wants to boost integrity in the C-suite at HP, and ensure pride and strong morale among its employees, it ... should start with the next chief's pay package," McGregor writes.
