Outlet shopping centers now part of consumers' normal routines

Chicago Premium Outlets retail center, which is thriving, is an example of how consumers behavior has shifted. Instead of buying luxury clothes on credit, they visit outlet centers for the discount prices. Consumers are also visiting these outlets several times a year instead of the once-a-year trips they used to make. As a result of these trends, more department stores are jumping into outlet retailing.
