Americans with health insurance still face medical debt

About 77 million Americans struggle to pay medical debt, and more than 49 million of them have health insurance, according to a Commonwealth Fund report. The report placed responsibility on the lawmakers, saying to "better protect Americans' financial security and access to care, policymakers need to look more closely at the quality of insurance coverage and benefit design."
