Study: Diet could affect prostate cancer progression

A strict diet that limits patients' dietary fat intake to 10% of total calories -- a regimen that has been shown to help heart disease -- also may inhibit the progression of prostate cancer, according to a study. The report joins evidence that high-fat diets increase the risk of prostate cancer, and certain foods can be protective against the disease.
