Report: Lack of data thwarts pay-for-performance programs

A lack of health information is hampering the broader adoption of pay-for-performance systems, according to a new report from the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions. Information systems have not been able to collect the data needed to offer a consistent and high-quality measurement of patient outcomes, according to the report.
