High fuel costs hurting both residential, commercial landscapers

Some middle-class homeowners in Houston are buying their own mowers or letting their lawn-care bills go unpaid, putting the squeeze on landscapers already hurt by soaring fuel prices. Though most commercial clients are still paying their bills, profit margins are shrinking because of landscapers' inability to pass along higher fuel costs.
