Report: 41,000-plus suspensions in Conn. during 2006-07 school year

In excess of 41,000 Connecticut public schools students were suspended in the 2006-07 school year for issues spanning dress code violations to violent crimes, according to a new report released by the Connecticut Voices for Children. The study said students from cities and less-affluent regions were more apt to be suspended than were their suburban school counterparts.
