Watson recalls one batch of fentanyl patches

Watson Pharmaceuticals has voluntarily recalled one batch of its fentanyl transdermal system patches in the U.S. after finding a limited number of leaks that may cause serious side effects such as respiratory depression. Watson said it has informed the FDA and does not expect any product shortages because of the recall.
