CDC hopes to prevent hospital EDs from spreading swine flu

The CDC is working with health care providers to prevent hospital emergency departments from becoming hot beds for transmitting swine flu. Health experts are worried many people will head to the ED with flu symptoms, putting other patients at risk, so they are setting up hot lines and interactive Web sites to help people determine if they really need to go to the hospital or if they should just stay home and ride it out.
