Colorado device firms to benefit from new state law

Colorado's medical-device makers are expected to benefit from the state's Clean Technology/Medical Device Tax Refund House Bill, which went into effect Aug. 5. State Rep. Jim Riesberg sponsored the legislation, which will permit small technology firms with 50 or fewer workers to get state sales refunds and use taxes for developing medical tools and clean technologies.
