Drug company sues Samsung, RIM, others over chip patents

British drug maker BTG has moved to head off imports of the iPhone and other electronics devices, alleging that Samsung Electronics' chips violate the company's patents. BTG has filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission over Samsung's Nand memory chips, claiming it owns rights for technology to add storage to Flash memory chips. BTG also cited Apple, Research in Motion and Dell Computer in the complaint.
