Filipino teachers learn value of music, visuals for autistic students

A US special-education teacher recently held a seminar for educators in the Philippines, saying that music and other tools can enhance learning for students with autism. Students remember more if the lessons have a musical element, Charles Slye said, adding that visuals also should accompany lessons.
