High-speed rail could lead to development in California

California developers see a wealth of opportunities in a plan to develop a high-speed rail line in the state. The $45 billion rail system, which could run from Sacramento to San Diego, could lead to real estate development, new services and retail opportunities. One developer noted that high-speed hubs have the potential for high-density, mixed-use developments.
