Judge will hear testimony before sentencing Big Dig contractor

A federal judge this week postponed sentencing a contractor involved in Boston's Big Dig tunnel collapse in 2006 in order to hear more testimony from expert witnesses. Modern Continental Construction has already pleaded guilty to 39 counts of making false statements. The witnesses will testify about how the company, which has declared bankruptcy, arrived at estimates for its work on the projects.
