Murphy Oil starts production at Congo offshore facility

Murphy Oil began operations at its drilling, production, storage and offloading facility in the Azurite field off the Congo. The floating site can store 1.3 billion barrels of oil and process 40,000 barrels per day. Murphy Oil holds a 50% working interest in the project, while Ste. Nationale Petroles du Congo and PA Resources control the rest.
