California county OKs increase in dog-license fees

Officials in Riverside County, Calif., agreed Tuesday to raise license fees for spayed or neutered dogs from $8 to $16 and from $50 to $100 for those that are not spayed or neutered. The move was intended to increase revenue during tough economic times, an area official said.
