Helping gifted students translate diverse talents into careers

Many students who are gifted find that they are talented in a variety of subjects -- a characteristic known as "multipotentiality," gifted-education specialist Tamara Fisher writes in this blog post. Because of this, many students will find it have difficult to focus on a single or clear career path, and will need guidance from teachers on how to manage these interests and develop strategies for college and beyond, Fisher writes.
