Tweedie warns U.S. on adopting global accounting rules

Sir David Tweedie, chairman of the International Accounting Standards Board, said the U.S. needs to accept international accounting rules next year or it will lose its influence on global finance regulation. Tweedie says the U.S. has sway in creating accounting rules despite not actually abiding by them at home.
