Analysis: Rivals have no answer so far to Apple's iPad

Hewlett-Packard's recent move to lower the price of its new TouchPad tablet by 20% is more evidence that Apple's rivals lack an answer to the iPad, industry observers say. Motorola Mobility and Research In Motion have also fallen short: Motorola has cut the cost of its Xoom tablet, and RIM still lacks Verizon Wireless and AT&T carriage for its PlayBook device. Dell confirmed this week that it has pulled one of its entries, the Streak 5, from the market.
