Assistive-technology camp targets students with learning disabilities

A school district in Ontario, Canada, this week is holding a technology camp for students with learning disabilities. The Summer Assistive Technology Camp is aimed at helping students become more proficient in speech-to-text software and other assistive tools that can help them be successful in the classroom. The program also includes a classroom component for parents, who learn to use the technology, so they will be better able to help with homework.
