Flaxseed fiber boosts satiety

In a small study, meals supplemented with 2.4 grams of flaxseed fiber promoted a greater feeling of satiety and fullness in men compared with meals without the fiber. Researchers looked at blood-sugar and lipid levels, as well as the amount of appetite-regulating hormones found in participants after eating the meals.
