Japan continues disaster reconstruction efforts

Two insurance brokers discuss the varying degrees of success and failure in Japan's quest to rebuild after the triple disasters that hit the country last March. Major thoroughfares, public utilities and manufacturing facilities were among the first to be rebuilt, although debris removal and disposal continues to slow recovery efforts in the more isolated areas. The insurance brokers also affirmed the effectiveness of Japan's existing quake-resistant building standards.
