Nippon Gas reportedly plans to invest in LPG in Southeast Asia

Japan-based Nippon Gas is planning to invest as much as $391 million in liquefied petroleum gas retailers in Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia to bolster foreign sales by up to $1.3 billion amid a "flattening" domestic LPG market, according to the Nikkei business daily. The company also purchased an 11.4% share in Australian Power and Gas in June.
