Tulsa, Okla., airport is latest to install new screening software

Tulsa International Airport in Oklahoma is the latest U.S. airport to install new passenger screening software that is aimed at addressing passenger privacy concerns. The millimeter-wave advanced imaging technology does not create an outline of the passenger's body as do earlier-model scanners, but instead detects potential threats under a person's clothing as the person moves. Thirty-nine airports across the country are implementing the new software.
