Yap.TV gathers TV recommendations from Twitter commentary

Yap.TV taps the roughly 1 in 5 tweets pertaining to television to offer online viewing recommendations that users can filter and sort in several ways. The idea is to create "the best experience for navigating what's on TV," giving users a way to either gauge which shows are generating the most general interest on Twitter or gravitate to what their friends prefer, says Yap chief Trevor Stout.
