$6B P3 project aimed at making Minn. city a "global health destination"

The Mayo Clinic and the city of Rochester, Minn., intend to transform the area into a global health destination. Tina Smith, chief of staff for Gov. Mark Dayton, was chosen to head the board of directors that will oversee its makeover. The $6 billion project will be developed through a public-private partnership over the next two decades. A design master plan is expected to be completed by the first half of 2014.
