Australians increasingly turn to mobile for videos

Mobile devices have transitioned into much more than phones in Australia, with users rapidly taking advantage of improved wireless delivery and more capable technology, according to a Frost & Sullivan study. Video is particularly popular across devices, with 39% of tablet owners viewing videos frequently. "As smartphone functionality continues to improve with higher resolutions and larger screens, faster Internet access via 4G networks and higher data downloads, this percentage will increase significantly over the next few years," said Phil Harpur, senior research manager for Australia & New Zealand at Frost & Sullivan.
