Minnesota is calling on property/casualty insurers to take a survey to determine what actions they have taken regarding the potential impact of climate change. California, Connecticut, New York and Washington also have adopted the survey, which was developed by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. "My perception is that we've seen some frequency changes with those events. We want to make sure companies and policyholders have the best protection possible," said Mike Rothmann, Minnesota's insurance commissioner.
