Passion is somewhat overrated in the startup world, writes Patrick Salyer. In fact, too much passion may actually prevent a startup founder from listening to the market and making the right decisions, Salyer writes. "Someone so invested in their idea, in their vision, may be blinded to pivot opportunities or ways to expand their business," he writes.
