Retailers' Q2 reports to offer more insight on BTS

Retailers including Wal-Mart, Macy's, Kohl's and Nordstrom will offer more insight into how tight this year's back-to-school season is shaping up to be when they release second-quarter results this week. The season's sales are expected to come in below last year's, according to NRF data, but better inventory controls mean most aren't desperately discounting, according to coupon site RetailMeNot.
