Specialty Crop brings Panache figs to market

Panache figs, which might date to the 17th century, are being commercially harvested for the first time by California's Specialty Crop. The fruit, marketed as Tiger because of its striped exterior, balances its sweet pulp with an acidity that is unusual in figs.
