Space Foundation offers teachers lessons in hands-on learning

Two week-long courses for Maryland educators conducted by the nonprofit Space Foundation helped teachers enhance their knowledge of science and astronomy to help them to inspire their students. "I've been teaching since 1982, and these two weeks have been the most informative experience that I've had," said Erica Strass, an elementary science teacher.
