Bengal Pipeline plans new Louisiana pumping station

A new Bengal Pipeline pumping station is expected to increase throughput capacity between Garyville, La., and Baton Rouge, La., by 55,000 barrels per day, to a total of 305,000 barrels per day, when the station goes online in 2010. Bengal's pipeline connects refineries in southern Louisiana to the Plantation and Colonial pipeline systems.
