Last week, JetBlue started charging passengers $7 for a new pillow and blanket. US Airways implemented processing fees for tickets bought with frequent-flier miles. These and other fees -- some old, some new, but all increasing -- are raising the ire of passengers while confusing others. "I think this a la carte method of squeezing travelers is basically bait-and-switch," says frequent-flier Jeff Kahne. "They bait us with a base fare and then start packing on the fees."
