Sierra Leone creates system to deal with public health data

Sierra Leone has launched its District Health Information System that should allow for better monitoring of its public health programs. The DHIS will collect data from health facilities across the country, analyze it and release timely information on public health performance indicators such as immunization, HIV prevention and malaria control.
