FDA approves CryoLife's heart patch

The FDA granted approval to CryoLife for its CryoPatch SG, a human cardiac patch designed to repair or reconstruct the heart's right ventricular outflow tract, a surgery often done for pediatric patients with congenital heart defects. The company plans to start shipping the product late in the third quarter.
