Center develops adverse-events application for iPhone, iPod touch

The Center for Biomedical Informatics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is utilizing an app for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch that will allow doctors and nurses to more easily download the National Cancer Institute's adverse-events classifications during clinical trials. The application is expected to improve adverse-event monitoring during trials.
