Community, schools have a stake in nutrition integrity

Schools and communities share the responsibility of providing students with quality, affordable, nutritious food, according to registered dietitians who updated a position paper on nutrition integrity for the American Dietetic Association. The paper said all children should eat breakfast, U.S. dietary guidelines should apply to to all food served in schools, and strong local wellness policies should promote healthy environments and nutrition integrity.
