Demand Media woos Madison Avenue

Demand Media, an online repository of how-to articles and video including the network eHow.com, is set to go public in an offering that could give the four-year-old company a $1.5 billion value. It's also making the rounds at major advertising agencies, trying to sell media buyers and marketers on its custom content and sponsorship offerings. Demand Media produces content based on what Web users are clicking on and seeking out via search.
