A software application designed for Apple's iPad tablet computer offers a sign language version of a children's book for those who cannot hear or who have hearing impairments. Children use the computer's touch screen to turn the pages of "Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy," while a videotaped narrator translates the story's text into sign language.
