NTIA to adjust to $302M in cuts to broadband fund

The National Telecommunications & Information Administration will see $302 million cut from the $4.7 billion originally earmarked for broadband stimulus projects, the agency said, citing an emergency need to provide funds to states to pay teachers. The monies represent about 10% of the amount NTIA had expected to allot over the next month and a half.
