Sebelius discusses primary care workforce solutions

The Obama administration has begun addressing the shortage of primary care providers with expanded funding for community health centers under the Affordable Care Act and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, writes HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in this commentary. Federal investments will help place more than 16,000 primary care providers in underserved communities over the next five years, she says.
