Virgin brands to begin miles-sharing program

A "quality alliance" among Virgin Atlantic, Virgin America and V Australia will soon let customers share frequent flier miles among the airlines, Sir Richard Branson has announced. The companies will also offer such benefits as speedier connections beginning next month, and they are working on plans to increase services for elite status members.
