3D printer could create concrete house layer-by-layer

Contour Crafting is a layered fabrication method developed by Behrokh Khoshnevis of the University of Southern California. Coupled with the use of a massive three-dimensional printer, Khoshnevis claims Contour Crafting could be used to build a single unit or a group of houses using concrete or adobe. This technology would be useful for building emergency housing and commercial or low-income homes.
