App aids patients with Parkinson's disease

The National Parkinson Foundation is developing version 2.0 of its free, patient-centric application, Parkinson's Central, that it recently launched to offer resources for people with Parkinson's disease. The app has received grants from drugmakers Teva Pharmaceutical Industries and AbbVie, but its content was provided by NPF head of research Dr. Jorge Zamudio, along with a movement disorder specialist and a patient with Parkinson's disease.
