Ariz. elementary school hosts local scientists as student role models

An elementary school in Tucson, Ariz., has been hosting local scientists in the classroom as part of a program intended to expose students -- the majority of whom are low-income -- to career ideas for the future. While officials say the program cannot make up for a difficult home life or other challenges students may face, educators say they are hopeful that bringing students into contact with adults in successful careers will make a difference.
