Beacon Roofing cites weaker demand but increases total sales

Demand for roofing products was weaker in the fiscal third quarter, according to Beacon Roofing Supply CEO and President Paul Isabella. However, the company still saw its sales increase 11.9% in the quarter compared with the same period a year ago, and 7.7% in the first nine months of the year compared with the year-ago level. Third-quarter earnings were up 7.1%, according to the company.
